Shipping & Pickup Terms and Conditions
 

By placing an order with SammiCakes & Cookies, you agree to the following terms:
 

Processing Time
All items are made fresh to order. Orders typically ship within the production timeframe stated at checkout, which is approximately 7–10 business days from the date the order is placed. Production timelines may vary depending on order volume and availability.
 

Shipping Carriers
Orders are shipped via third-party carriers such as USPS Priority Mail or UPS 2nd Day Air. Once an order leaves our kitchen and is in the carrier’s possession, delivery timing is outside of our control.
 

Delivery Dates
We cannot guarantee delivery on a specific date once the package has been handed off to the carrier. Carrier delays, weather conditions, routing issues, and high-volume shipping periods may affect delivery timelines.
 

Incorrect Addresses
Customers are responsible for providing an accurate and complete shipping address. Orders returned due to incorrect or incomplete addresses will be disposed of and are not eligible for refund.
 

Tracking Information
Tracking information will be provided once the order has shipped. Customers are responsible for monitoring tracking updates and ensuring someone is available to receive the package if necessary.
 

Damage
We package items carefully to minimize damage during transit. However, once a package has been shipped, SammiCakes & Cookies is not responsible for damage caused by carrier handling, heat exposure, delayed retrieval from a mailbox or doorstep, or improper storage after delivery.
 

Carrier Delays
We are not responsible for shipping delays caused by the carrier. Refunds will not be issued for delays once the order has been shipped.
 

Lost or Damaged Packages
If a package is lost or arrives damaged during transit, the customer must contact the shipping carrier directly to file a claim. We will assist by providing shipment documentation if needed.
 

Abandoned Pickup Orders
For local pickup orders, customers are responsible for collecting their order on the scheduled pickup date. If a customer is unable to make the scheduled pickup time, they must contact us to arrange an alternate pickup time.
 

Orders not picked up and without communication from the customer may be discarded due to the nature of our products. Once an order has been prepared and made available for pickup, it is considered fulfilled and is not eligible for a refund.
 

Refund Policy
Due to the nature of our products, refunds are not issued for orders once they have been placed.
 

Order Acceptance
Placing an order confirms that you have read and agreed to these terms and conditions.
