Hi!  I'm Sammi, a very busy mom of 5!

 

My small business, SammiCakes & Cookies was born during the 2020 pandemic.  I've been a hobby baker for most of my life but in April of 2020, the whole world shut down and I was furloughed from my dream job at Walt Disney World while also preparing to give birth to my daughter the very next month.

 

I suddenly found myself with no income, a lot of upcoming expenses, & a ton of uncertainty in the world.

 

I stocked up on warehouse sized bags of baking ingredients because basic things like bread were a scarce commodity during those times.  I put them to good use and I did what I love... I baked!  I stocked my freezer with all sorts of muffins and breads.  I even perfected my now viral cinnamon roll recipe!  I started posting my baked goods online and taking custom orders for cookies, cupcakes, & even birthday cakes.

 

Word of mouth has since spread like wildfire and the rest is history.  I am SO thankful to be doing what I love while being able to stay home with my children and build an amazing life for my family.  

 

We currently have over 21,000 Facebook followers and thousands of customers from all over the world!

 

Since the launch of SammiCakes & Cookies just a couple of years ago, we have expanded from local pickup orders, to resort delivery, & now include monthly nation-wide shipping!

 

I have been able to launch not one but TWO umbrella companies!  Sammi's Nut Haus, gourmet nut blends & my newest launch BOXX'D by SammiCakes, private chef services serving Orlando area vacation rentals & resorts.  We include boxed specialties such as Charcuterie, High Tea, Themed meals, & Breakfast with protein options.

 

I have also started a fund called the Sammi Shares project to benefit families with critically ill children coming to Disney World.  This fund provides these families with free treats delivered to their resort from the SammiCakes brand.

 

I am SO excited to see what the future holds for us as our story is still being written.  Thank you SO much to our loyal fans because without them, we would not be where we are today!
